Entering OnLine Business (Beginner Guide)

The term e-commerce emerge since 2000, even in 1995 some international academic forecasted about new kind of economic segment.
E-commerce means economic activity using internet. Yes economic activity, and of course there are re-definition about economic activity. But i will not explain the new definition :)



Internet provide a media, communication media. That the basic. You can not produce non-digital product using internet. But you can sell a book, computer, jewelry and event a car and a house. So from economic point of view, internet give a service and digital product.

Before we take a look to a kind of services and digital product internet can give please keep in your mind this credo :
1. Internet is very vulnerable place, so always carefull.
2. On the net, exist old trick "I will give you 1000$ but first give me 10 $", examine carefully if u see such kind of advertise/invitation because the 1000$ didnt exist.

Service that internet can give for example are :
1. Domain, hosting, and web service.
Domain is an address of any web on the net such as : www.hukamaonline.com. Web itself is a page contain information. Hosting is a place to save the web.
What i means about web service is creating and managing web. One who create and manage web called web master.

2. Sell goods and stuffs
You can see www.ebay.com or www.amazon.com for example. The idea is relocate your shop to the net.

3. Advertise service
When internet become globaly and more human using it, its become new marketing media. Effectiveness of this media has been proven. Today, even politician using internet for their campaign. Can you belive it? FYI Barrack Obama hire professional IT for his campaign web. I am not fans of Barrack but i show you how powerfull internet is as communication media.

4. Payment service
It is the best and the smartest one. The problem trading on the net is about payment. The solution arouse and there are exist www.paypal.com. ; www.moneybookers.com etc
I couldnt give you detail information about the payment mechanism. But paypal is true and legal.

5. E-mail provider
E-mail provider is the worst one because on the net you will find abundance free email. But the idea is ok.

I think those five example are enough, many of the rest can be found by yourself on the net.

How to begin first business on line?

You can choose freely any kind of service or product you want to sell, but before that youl will need this three basic equipment :
1. You must have email
2. You must have web
3. You must registered to payment service
